Celebrity Chef Seamus O’Connell, star of RTE’s SOUL FOOD cookery programme, has been serving the highest quality food and wine, with hints of mischief and twists of the unexpected, at the Ivory Tower restaurant for over 15 years.
Seamus’ eclectic and creative menus include offerings drawn from sublime Japanese food (including new-wave sushi), original Mexican food and re-interpreted French Cuisine as well as a continually-changing market-driven repetoire. Ingredients are extremely fresh (and usually organic), flavours are bold and presentation is modern. So whether you choose a classic dish with a twist (such as lobster risotto nero or aged rib of irish beef with whiskey) or one of Seamus' fusion creations (e.g. wild duck with vanilla sherry and jalapenos), be prepared for adventure and originality on a plate.
The Ivory Tower is well-known for its menus degustation (8-course tasting menus), including the renowned Japanese tasting menu, which provide an exciting introduction to this fare.
